Taking the Heat
A lot of glory and prestige can be involved when becoming an effective and famous leader. When becoming a popular leader you can lead your followers to success. Sometimes after uncontrollable circumstances leaders fail and their followers fail with them. This can lead to some unwarranted blame and results in the followers blaming the leader. As a leader they need to "take the heat" for the mistake even if it wasn't the leaders fault. If a team fails then often times the quarterback is blamed as the leader of the offense. If a team loses then the coach is blamed and possibly even fired. If an unforeseen tragedy happens in our country then it is easy to blame the leader. If a natural disaster occurs then it is blamed on the president. No president in the history of the world has ever caused a hurricane. The poor economy often times gets blamed on the leader of the United States, but it is usually out of their control. Just keep everything in perspective, and do not be too quick to blame a leader, when they are in a high-pressure tough situation and are just doing their best.
