Leadership Type

There are several different types of leadership. Each correlates to someones personality on a social and emotional level. Some categorize leaders be four basic colors. I personally am a blue leadership type. My motive is intimacy, which makes sense because I like connecting with people on a personal level and forming bonds so they develop trust and will follow my lead. I need to be good morally, be understood, appreciated, and accepted. I want to connect with people and share insecturities. I care about quality over quanity. I often pay special attention to detail and some call me a perfectionist. Different jobs may require different types of leaders.

Reflections on first week

There are many different ways you can be a leader. Leadership is a unique quality that some people are born with and some develop as they get older. Some people naturally draw others toward them because of desired qualities that they may poccess. Everybody has their own personality and way of thinking. Followers may expect their leaders have certain values, and tend to follow leaders with similar beliefs. This led to the developement of different religious institutions as well political parties. If you have certain principles and values, you are not going to follow someone with opposing views, you will follow someone that you agree with and can trust.
